Kevin DiBacco is an Independent, worldwide, distributed director/filmmaker. For 37 years his film & video career has specialized
in creating complex, creative, Non-Hollywood Feature Films on a low budget, National Television programs and MTV/Label Music
Videos.
Starting at a young age Kevin began his filmmaking journey by borrowing his father’s Super 8mm camera and making films
around his neighborhood. Super 8mm film is still a love of his.
Kevin started in the film and video production business in the late 70’s and has progressed with the development of
new equipment from motion picture film to the HD digital equipment we use today. He has directed music videos for major record
labels, professional recording artists, broadcasters, as well as many others around the world including ABC, The Discovery
Channel, The History Channel, The Bio Channel, MTV, NBC and ABC.
Kevin has directed and produced over 400 hundred broadcast television commercials, 20 music videos and documentaries as well
as worldwide released 5 feature films that are sold in over 180+ countries. He can add to his resume professional author,
after selling his first manuscript, “The Real World Guide to Digital Filmmaking.” and the completion of 'The Artists
Toolkit" Published by Keith Publications Inc.and re-release by Urban Viking / Ingram Publishing.
Kevin has FIVE motion pictures in worldwide release. Each Motion Picture produced, directed and edited by Kevin himself. Another
Seven feature films sold to distributors through his consulting work. In total, Kevin has now sold (12) feature films with
Worldwide Distribution Contracts.
Currently, Kevin is working on various motion picture projects with his agent and management company, here in the US, and
Europe. He is also preparing to take his wealth of knowledge on the road to teach filmmaking seminars and workshops.
He is constantly stretching his creative abilities, while still taking time to teach male and female, young and old filmmakers
better techniques and shortcuts to making Independent film and video productions.
His workshops have been an enormous success around the country and he will continue to help others learn the filmmaking business
as well as helping artists acquire sales and marketing skills to sell their own work. As the saying goes “the only source
of knowledge is experience”.
Kevin uses his experience to help others achieve their dream of making a living as a professional film or video creator.
